Playing Chicken Road on a phone, and the one thing that goes wrong

The game was built for a thumb: one button, a ladder that scrolls sideways, and a cash-out that has to be reachable without looking. What a phone adds is a connection that drops, and the rules panel has a line about exactly that.
Most people who play this game play it on a phone, standing up, while something else is happening. That changes nothing about the odds and quite a lot about the mistakes.
What the phone version is

The layout compresses rather than changes: the bet box with MIN, MAX and the quick chips sits at the bottom, the difficulty row beside it, and the road scrolls horizontally so that four or five covers are visible instead of seven. The habit the small screen breaks
On a desktop the next multipliers are visible several lanes ahead, and the temptation is visible with them. Connection, and the line in the rules
The round is decided on the operator's server. A phone that loses signal mid-round is not a phone that decided the outcome, and reopening the game usually shows how the round resolved.
Two things are worth knowing anyway. First, the rules panel carries the standard clause: malfunction voids all pays and plays. A round broken by a genuine fault can be voided rather than paid, at either end of the result. Second, a flaky connection makes the cash-out unreliable at precisely the moment you want it, which is an argument for playing on stable wifi rather than on a train.

The game runs in a browser, and that is its distribution.
