Chicken Road 2: the same road, with a bonus round bolted on

The sequel

Chicken Road 2 is the InOut Games follow-up, and the lobby tile is easy to miss next to the original. The difference that matters is the feature: the sequel carries a free-spins bonus you can collect or buy outright, with four ceilings that run from x200 to x1,000,000.

CryptoCasinoChickenRoad logo: a rooster in sunglasses giving a thumbs up beside bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin coins and a road

Open the game and the header tells you which one you are in: the wordmark reads CHICKEN 2 ROAD, with the 2 wedged into the middle. Next to it sit a “How to play?” button, the balance, and a full-screen toggle. Down the left edge a live-wins ticker scrolls other players' hits, and an online counter sat between roughly 10,700 and 11,300 through the session we recorded on 22 September 2026.

Underneath, the game is the one people already know: a chicken, a road, a row of manhole covers each printed with a multiplier, and one decision repeated until it goes wrong.

What the sequel adds

The feature is the reason to care about the 2.

A free-spins bonus. Collect three lights during play and the round hands over to a set of automatic spins. The rules panel is specific about how they run: the chicken stops one step before danger on each spin, reaching that spin's maximum multiplier, and at the end the total accumulated multiplier is cashed out automatically. You watch; you do not choose.

A bonus buy. The panel prices the feature at one hundred times the current stake — 500 at a stake of 5, 1,000 at a stake of 10, 20,000 at a stake of 200 — and the price is identical on all four difficulty cards.

Four ceilings, printed on those cards. x200 on Easy, x5,000 on Medium, x240,000 on Hard, x1,000,000 on Hardcore, each with the game's own volatility label from low to very high, and with nine, seven, five and three free spins respectively.

A visibly different bonus road. During free spins the tarmac turns red, wooden barriers replace some of the traffic, and gold BONUS covers line the lanes. It is scenery, but it is useful scenery: you can tell at a glance whether a screenshot came from a normal round or from inside the feature.

What we recorded from four bought bonuses — one returned 1.22 times its price, the Hardcore one returned 0.18 — is on the bonus round.

The first game's bonus panel, at a bet of 200 and a price of 20,000 — the same one hundred stakes as the sequel. Its ceilings are 200x, 14,000x, 240,000x and 1,000,000x, so only Medium was re-priced for Chicken Road 2, down to 5,000x. Volatility here is drawn as lightning bolts rather than words.

Chicken Road or Chicken Road 2: the differences that show on screen

We have both games open in demo, so this is a comparison of screens rather than of press releases.

Two rows there are worth stopping on.

The Medium ceiling moved. The original's Medium card reads 14,000x; the sequel's reads 5,000x. Easy, Hard and Hardcore carry the same ceilings in both games, so the middle level is the one that was re-priced. If a lobby's game description quotes 14,000x, it is describing the first game.

The cash-out is presented differently. The original prints the money on the button — CASH OUT 372 $ at a stake of 200 — while the sequel leaves you reading multipliers off the road and the total in the banner. Same decision, two amounts of arithmetic to do in your head.

The bonus-buy price is one hundred stakes in both: at a bet of 200 the cards in either game read BUY 20,000.

What stayed the same

The four difficulty levels still rebuild the road rather than nudging it: 30 lanes on Easy, 25 on Medium, 22 on Hard, 18 on Hardcore, with the row labelled by the game as chance of being shot down. The bet box still offers MIN, MAX and quick chips of 1, 2, 5 and 10. The cash-out is still available at any point in the round, and the round still ends the instant the chicken is caught.

One small inconsistency survives into the sequel: the difficulty row calls the hardest level Hardcore, while the rules panel calls it Daredevil when it lists free spins. Same eighteen-lane road, two names.

Where the numbers come from, and where they stop

Everything above is read from the game's own screens. We have not published a return-to-player figure for Chicken Road 2, because we have not read one from a source worth citing — operators sometimes print an RTP on their game page, and that page is the right place to check it. The comparison table above is limited in the same way: it holds what both games display, not what neither of them publishes, so there is no per-step probability in it and no RTP.

The ceilings deserve one plain warning. A card reading x1,000,000 is a maximum multiplier, not an outcome, and it belongs to the level with three free spins and a “very high” volatility label. The operator's own maximum win or payout cap applies on top of it, in the terms, and it is often a much smaller number.

The end of the bonus road in Chicken Road 2 with the iNOUT wall and covers reading 14.10x and 27.90x
Late in the feature the ladder jumps: 14.10x and 27.90x on the last covers, with the banner reading 200 x 63.31. The iNOUT mark on the wall is the studio's, InOut Games, which is the provider filter to look for in a casino lobby.

Trying it without paying for it

Two free routes, and they answer different questions. A casino's own demo mode opens the sequel with a play balance, which is the only way to see the Buy Bonus panel and the bonus road as the studio drew them — that is how every screenshot on this page was recorded. For the part that actually transfers to a funded session, the ladder and the decision to leave, our own Chicken Road 2 demo board runs in the page with the same four levels and ceilings, no account and no download.

Finding it in a lobby

Most crypto casinos file Chicken Road 2 under instant or crash games rather than slots, and some list it only under the InOut Games provider filter. If a lobby's search returns nothing for “chicken”, try the provider list: an operator that carries InOut Games carries the studio's catalogue, and that is the check we run when we look at a casino for our list.
